I have a Master of Science degree in Learning Design and Technology from the University of San Diego. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Genetic Engineering from the University of Minnesota. I bring over 15 years of experience in the eLearning industry to the table. With a great deal of my learning design experience focused in the biomedical industry, and having had a previous career as a biology research associate, communication with Subject-Matter Experts in these fields comes easily to me.
My strength lies in my ability to tackle complex content, such as scientific or engineering techniques and concepts, and develop clear, engaging learning experiences that cause learners to apply what they have learned. I especially enjoy designing learning experiences using animation and game-based interactivities. Lifelong learning is my passion and I am continuously improving my skill set to find new means of learning for students.
In my downtime, I enjoy digital painting and watching bad horror movies. Otherwise, I spend most of my time appeasing my cat and wandering the beaches of San Diego.
